Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie said that President Barack Obama has helped to restore America's global image, but he really needs to change his tune on marriage equality.

New Music Express caught up with Fergie at the Scottish music festival T in the Park where she offered her assessment of Obama, which included praise on the foreign relations front and the marriage equality tweak.

"He's a great speaker and I myself got to go to the White House," she said. "But I wish he would do more for gay marriages though. That's the one thing I want to happen!"

Watch Fergie discuss Obama with NME in the video.
